Marek Woźniak: born 5th of April 1953 in Warsaw in a family with a long musical traditions. A self-tought luthier, he has built his first instrument (a guitar) in 1970. In 1978 he completed studies in the Mechanics Department of Warsaw Polytechnic. In the years 1977 – 1980 he trained in the workshop of Antoni Karolkowski; he also underwent a period of training under Franciszek Marduła. Since 1978 he has run his own workshop in Warsaw. His creative outpuy comprises around 30 instruments (violin and violas) and over 100 bows. In 1979 he took part in the First ‘Z. Szulc’ Polish National Luthiers’ Competition in Poznan. He also carries out conservation work.

He is also a certified instruments appraiser, a member o ZPAL (Polish Artist Luthiers' Associacion) since 1978.

Bartosz Wożniak: born 6th of May 1975 in Warsaw. He started his luthier's apprenticeship in 1989 in his father's workshop. Since 1997 they have been working together.
